Accommodation

We offer a comfortably furnished double bedroom with an en suite bathroom(bath and shower).

A twin bedded, smaller bedroom, sharing the same en suite bathroom, can be offered to close friends or family of guests in the main bedroom.

Please note that the smaller bedroom is not 4* rated.

Tea/Coffee making facilities are available.

Magazines and books of local interest are provided in the attractive drawing room, which is for the exclusive use of guests.

A television is in the sitting room, shared with the owners.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the rustic dining room.

A choice of cereals, yogurt and fruit is offered, together with a hearty full English breakfast, using locally sourced produce whenever possible. Home grown fruit is available in season. Free range local eggs, home made bread and preserves are a speciality.

Prices

Double bedroom - £65 per night, including breakfast, for double occupancy.
£45 for single.

Twin bedded room- £50-55 for double occupancy
£35-40 for single.

Local Amenities

There are four attractive traditional pubs within one mile, serving good pub food. Within four miles are several more pubs and a restaurant.

Trout fishing can be arranged on the River Avon in season and on Manningford Lakes. Riding, clay pigeon shooting, golf and tennis can also be arranged locally. The quiet lanes of the Vale of Pewsey are ideal for cycling whilst walkers can enjoy wonderful walks exploring the beautiful Wessex Downs, Salisbury Plain, the Avon valley and the Kennet and Avon canal.

Some local woods are filled with bluebells in the spring.

Wheelchair users may encounter difficulties ascending four steps leading to the cottage, a steep staircase inside and upstairs rooms at different levels.

Parking places are available in the lane outside the cottage.
